Анотація

Вступ. Олімпійські ігри 2004 року в Афінах сприяли подальшій економічній кризі в Греції через безвідповідальні витрати.

Мета дослідження висвітлення, як політика та витрати грецького уряду на інфраструктурні та інші проекти, пов'язані з Олімпійськими іграми, пов'язані з безвідповідальним фінансовим управлінням, що призвело до краху грецької економіки.

Матеріали та методи полягали у вивченні урядової політики та фінансових показників, пов'язаних із великими спортивними подіями, а саме з Олімпійськими іграми 2004 року.

Результати. Результати свідчать, що поточний аналіз великих спортивних подій не враховує належним чином фінансові показники та реалії, і що для визначення як витрат, так і рентабельності інвестицій необхідний як економічний, так і фінансовий аналіз
